Discovering the New World
(aka “Old Man Nature”)
Ever patient, ever adapting, by turns nurturing and unforgiving, slow but unstoppably powerful, that’s Nature. His lessons are easy to observe. Even the strongest are eventually food for the weakest in the cycle of life, and those who can’t adapt to a changing environment die out entirely. Nature’s favored are the flexible, for the tree that bends doesn’t break, and those too locked into their ways to handle change are consumed by his agents and forgotten.
